Octagon Farm is a small, home-based, one-woman owned and operated mushroom and herb farm in northern Vermont specializing in small-batch, handcrafted mushroom and herbal tinctures.
Wild harvesting of mushrooms and plants is done ethically by me from surrounding fields and woods. Herbs are grown organically in no-till gardens (learn more here), disturbing the soil and its ecosystem as little as possible, using only compost for fertilizer, spent mushroom substrate for mulch, and of course no chemicals of any kind.
All tinctures contain only simple, natural ingredients, focusing on the herbs and mushrooms they are made with and their abilities to support our health and wellness. I am extremely fortunate and grateful to work with these plant and fungal allies every day and I’m excited to share them with you!
